Lori's Skincare & Massage Services (Lori's LLC) respects your privacy. This page explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. In short: we collect only what you choose to give us, we use it only to reply to you or to send email you asked for, and we never sell it.
What this website collects
Mailing list: if you tick the box asking to hear from us, we store your name, email address, and phone number if you provide one, along with the date you signed up and which form you used.
Gift certificate requests: if you request a gift certificate, we store your name, email, phone number, who the certificate is for, the amount or treatment you chose, how you'd like it delivered, and any message you'd like written on it.
Standard website records: like nearly all websites, our host keeps technical logs of visits, which include IP addresses. We do not use advertising trackers, and there is no analytics software on this site.
What we do with it
We use your details to reply to you, to arrange a gift certificate, and — only if you ticked the box — to send occasional email about openings, treatments, and offers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may use it to reach you about an appointment or a gift certificate you asked about. We do not send promotional text messages without asking your permission separately first.
Booking an appointment
Appointments are booked by phone or text — there is no booking form on this website, so we collect nothing from you online in order to make an appointment. Anything you tell Lori about your skin or your health during a treatment is kept private and is not stored on this website.
Who else handles your information
This website runs on Google Firebase, which hosts the site and stores the information above on servers in the United States.
If you buy a gift certificate online, the payment is handled by our payment provider on their own secure checkout page. Your card details are never sent to, or stored on, this website.
When we send a marketing email, we use an email service to deliver it, which stores your name and email address for that purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep mailing list entries until you ask to be removed. We keep gift certificate requests for as long as needed to honour the certificate and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time.
You can also email or call us and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll take care of it promptly.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a small amount of information in your browser so that pages load quickly and appear correctly. It stays on your device and isn't used to identify you.
Children
This website isn't intended for children, and we don't knowingly collect information online from anyone under 16. Treatments for younger clients are arranged directly with a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
